This is the digital home of LA FINESTRA our Traditional Italian Ristorante based in Stanford, here in the beautiful Western Cape, South Africa.

On the 1st of April 2010 La Finestra opened it's doors to the public at the helm are three friends who decided it was time to put their several talents and experience to starting a business together - hence La Finestra was born.

Our name literary means "The Window" in Italian, which we thought very appropriate as we saw our new business venture as a "window" of opportunity, or a "window" on the world.

Once again your hosts pulled off a great evening of fun and fine food - attended by most of the residents in the locality the La Finestra Ladies evening was enjoyed by all present!

Our bar man Bryce was a real hit with the girls/ladies who protested vigourously about not being able to "take him home"! Nice one Bryce!

Of course the food was delicious, and our ravenous patrons went home feeling well and truly satiated!

Our awesome hosts arranged a spectacular evening of fun and food with a Mafia theme. Held on Saturday 15th May the evening was one of the highlights on the Stanford social calendar and will be fondly remembered by all patrons!
